South Side Salvage was founded in July 2003 by William H. Oester. For over 10 years, customers in South Western Pennsylvania, Western Maryland, and Eastern West Virginia have been relying on us to provide 24/7 heavy duty towing and recovery, semi-truck repair, high-quality used truck parts, and more.

Our Equipment

We have a “state of the art” fleet that includes 2 sliding rotators (the largest sliding rotator in Somerset, Allegheny, and Garrett counties), 1 heavy wrecker, 3 tow trucks, 2 rollbacks, 2 service trucks. Additionally, we have a heavy hauler semi, over the road semis and a double-drop lowboy trailer.
